Vogelsang - Bird song

I have just returned from a holiday in the Eifel area of Germany. During the holiday I visited a place called Vogelsang. Vogelsang was built by the Nazis in the mid 30's as one of three academies to train the future generations of bureaucrats to run the thousand year reich. It was a fascinating place and I think it would make an excellent back drop to a future Bernie Novel. Are there any other locations we could suggest for future novels?
