Inspiring stuff
Just wanted to weigh in with something. I have no idea if Señor Kerr ever reads, or even knows about this forum, but I'll say it anyway. I've always wanted to write about Nazi Germany and World War II, from being an obsessive 12 or 13yrs old bookworm creep. And for every fact heavy tome or the occasional fact heavy but readable gem like Beevor's Stalingrad, Berlin 1945 and SCW, and every novel (some good, some bad) that I've got my grubby little hands on, I've never enjoyed wartime lit or Nazi Germany based literature quite as much as these books. Inspiring stuff, and very insightful for works of pure fiction.
If only I could achieve the same standard! Alas, no such delusion. Nice one, Mr Kerr, a brilliant series I look forward to finishing, and I greatly anticipate your next work.
