    Everyone had a great time at Brookline Booksmith in Boston last night. Philip Kerr was interviewed by fellow writer and Bernie fan Leonard Rosen (THE TENTH WITNESS, ALL CRY CHAOS). After a fascinating 45-minute-or-so back and forth with Rosen, Kerr took questions from the audience.

    If you haven't seen him in person but you get the chance, take it. He is really funny, has great stories to tell, and seems to love talking to readers. But be advised that these events are capped at right around the one-hour mark, so the number of audience members who get to ask questions is limited. Don't be shy.

    Aargh! Come to California so I don't have to find you in London! And thank you for letting women who fall for Bernie live, untouched. Loved the murderess who gets away. I'm the fan who suggested in London at a book signing that the girls who fall for Bernie are like Bond girls-- dead in the next chapter! Thank you for letting one walk off in Field Grey and another drive off in lady from Zagreb. Feels more like the Berne we all love.
