    It looks as though the WW2 back story is going to be connected to the deportation of the Salonika Jews to Auschwitz-Birkenau from March to August 1943. As Bernie has covered this period in A Man without Breath and The Lady from Zagreb I'm not sure how this will work. Perhaps he is fitting it into late August 1943 when he was with General Schorner in White Russia.
