There is a glaring error, for those of us old enough to remember those days, regarding the cost of a room at the Grand Hotel, SJCF, on page 19.

"He's paying more than 1500 francs a night, which is about four hundred dollars,........" In fact, it would have been worth around four dollars in 1956. A USD was worth about 350FF at that time. 150,000 francs would have been around $400.

In 1960 the French created the new franc, NF, which was worth 100 old francs. 1500NF would have been worth about $400.
