Philip Kerr has announced the title of the ninth Bernie book via Twitter:

Bernie Gunther back in April in A Man Without Breath. The title is from a novel by a writer called Josef Goebbels
Gunther is pronounced not quite like Goonter. The "u" sound is a bit more like the "u" in "urge."
We'd say it's about halfway between "oo" and the "u" in "urge."
As for the other names -- any German or Czech speakers want to weigh in here?

UPDATE -- According to our contact at Editions du Masque, the French translation of ITDRN has been pushed back to sometime in the first half of 2012. We'll keep you posted.
Editions du Masque are due to publish the French translation of IF THE DEAD RISE NOT this coming autumn. Keep an eye on Amazon.fr to see the publication date nearer the time.
