Kronprinzenallee would have been the proper name during the 1930s. It was renamed circa 1949 to honor Gen. Lucius D. Clay for his role in the airlift which supplied Berlin with living essentials during the Russian blockade. I grew up in that part of Berlin and am enjoying the dickens out of this book and character
